Inspired by patterns of life in motion, each piece interprets the emotional space between the every day, gracefulness, awkwardness, and discomfort from our day to day.
I strive to translate, record, and organize my own emotional responses through form, color and scale into visual guides. These organic phantom forms represent something familiar and at the same time entirely elusive, allowing for the viewer's personal interpretations.
I primarily work with acrylic based paint and marker on paper or wood, recently I've begun exploring these forms further through ceramics and large scale paintings.
